George Soros Instagram – Yemen’s ongoing civil war is a humanitarian crisis. Innocent Yemenis suffer as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates conduct attacks there—with U.S. support—and Iran provides weapons for rebel forces. Indiscriminate airstrikes and rocket launches, use of banned cluster munitions and landmines, and the arbitrary detention, torture and disappearance of many have exacerbated an already dire situation. Now is the time for both regional and global leaders to rise to the occasion, end the bloodshed, and bring all those who’ve violated the Yemeni people’s human rights to justice.
