Hans Zimmer Instagram – For the next #HansZimmerLive Meet the Band, I’d like to introduce you to the extraordinary father-daughter duo of @thereallebo_m and @refi_sings. You probably recognize Lebo’s iconic voice from #TheLionKing! He and I met in the early 1990s after he emigrated from South Africa to LA and was busing tables at coffee shops and McDonald’s. We haven’t stopped collaborating since, and then I met his daughter Refi. When she was 17, I asked her to join us on tour because she had irrefutable creativity emanating from every tour. Now, they sing together on every night of the tour and it makes my heart burst every time!
