James A. Janisse Instagram – I’m 32 today, and at this point I’m learning to accept that I’ll probably never again be in “the best shape of my life” – it’ll be hard to top when I was 25 and part of a strictly-controlled Beach Body test group for 4 months. As I get “older,” though, I can appreciate my own physical health and fitness more and more. For a long time I had self-image issues because I’m so small compared to a lot of men seen in media (Average height at 5’10”, but it’s nearly impossible for me to weigh more than 160 pounds). But even if I can’t get cut like a superhero actor or a model, I should still be proud and appreciative of what I have. Not everyone is so lucky. So, thanks, body.
