Maresa and I were supposed to drive I to the city to visit my parents, I woke up to a call from my mother saying not to hurry, Dad was gone, he had passed peacefully that morning. He had been ill for a while yet it still seemed so sudden, I had no way of knowing the last time I saw him would be the last time.
