Update on Gary the jacket. It was a close run thing, like the last few minutes of Benedict Affleck movie Argo- @garythejacket was all wrapped up and ready to head back to Paris on a plane, but kindness prevailed! @anthonyvaccarello and the generous folks @ysl realised that Gary and I belong together… that and they just wanted my relentless, self-serving posts about their jacket to stop. Thanks to all who helped bring Gary home. Now we can sleep.

It’s a dog’s life
As Gary looked down at the desert vista below he knew in his heart it was over. Nothing could alter the plane’s inexorable path to its destination. The Rockies would be next, then the mid west and Chicago, but soon, all too soon the heaving metropolis of New York, and in its grey concrete edifice @garythejacket would see the future… and it was a future without @paulbettany . They would hold each other close these last few stolen hours and then part. For Paul, there would be other jackets, and for Gary other shoulders… but neither would forget their time together… and in the hard years and miles ahead they would find solace in their memories… they knew they would always have San Diego.

So this was my mate @cameron__avery last night. I met Cameron on the island of the apocalypse and we became old friends in minutes. He’s horribly gifted- Follow him if you like talent and such.
Ok so, another irritatingly talented friend of mine @dgkoepp has written another novel- Stephen King has called it “Impossible to put down.” which is exactly what I would’ve written if David Koepp had bothered to ask me to right a blurb… although I might have taken more time and effort over it and used a few more adjectives.
