Rouzbeh Rashidi Instagram – My latest film “Luminous Void: Docudrama (2019)” is now available on video-on-demand to stream or download. It was kindly funded by The @artscouncilireland and produced by the Experimental Film Society.

Conceived by Jann Clavadetscher, Michael Higgins, Vicky Langan, Maximilian Le Cain, Atoosa Pour Hosseini, Rouzbeh Rashidi.

This film is the culmination of my experimental film practice, most technically advanced, most collaborative and an end of an era of a certain type of filmmaking for me after twenty years. My life and my art has drastically changed and still changing after this movie.

Rouzbeh Rashidi Instagram – Thanks a million to everyone who attended our @experimentalfilmsociety screening last night at @wolfkinogang. Special thanks to @maximilianlecain, who travelled all the way from Cork, Ireland, to present his latest brilliant feature film BLISSED to the audience. I was personally very touched by the intimate, warm and thought-provoking post-screening question and answer session. Many thanks to anyone who shared their feedback and insightful viewing experiences. Finally, our gratitude goes to the incredible team at the @wolfkinogang and especially Carlos for hosting and facilitating us. Engagement with the audience to this level always makes everything worthwhile, and that is what I have seen and sensed from our recent previous events in Berlin, so I thank you all again.

#ExperimentalFilmSociety will be back on the 3rd of September in Wolf Kino to present another programme of experimental cinema by two fantastic Berlin-based artists. After that, I am working on and developing a unique and ambitious screening project that I hope to share its progression and news in due time, so please watch this space. Onwards!
