Amy Bailey Instagram – A mother’s day: Today (after my gift of sleeping in aka greatest gift there ever was – don’t do flowers people… let her sleeeeep) we headed out to a little bitty town nearby for a theoretical brunch of pancakes, strong coffee, and a play area for the kids so @miniateam and I could – theoretically – actually eat our food. Various left turns and several closed cafés later (#tinytexastown) we finally found a local Mexican joint that juuust so happened to serve my 2nd favourite breakfast beverage. Folks, if you’ve never treated your mama to migas and beeritas on a Sunday morning, you haven’t done her right. Afterwards we drove slooowly in the heat to see if our 2 year old might take the nap he refused earlier. No chance. He asked us to turn up the radio. Now we are home. The hubby is passed out and the twins are enjoying their sacred hour-of-minecraft-on-the-weekend time. It has taken me a full 20mins to post this as aforementioned 2 year old is jumping on my torso and shouting “Mama let’s play monster trucks!” So I’m off this nefarious phone contraption and back to the ones who matter most 🥰 Love to all!
