Amy Bailey Instagram – I’m lucky enough during the week to help out on a friend’s organic farm. It is like my church out there…hands deep in dirt and mind & heart deep in contemplation. My favourite moments are weeding the long rows alone or harvesting the treasures that were planted in the winter. I talk to the bugs, and god, and myself, and people I need to forgive or ask forgiveness from. I talk to my mom a lot. She has dementia and has been non-verbal for a long time, but I like to think she can hear me somehow, out in that lovely green silence. (Silence except for the roosters and guinea hens and goats and turkeys and etc 😅). Anyhoo, on Friday I asked the various angelic deities who might be lurking nearby to give me a sign – just a little positive sign of joy and love. I was harvesting strawberries in that moment and this beauty popped into my hands. So I’m labelling it as an Easter weekend message from the Lord/Universe/Odin/Gaia (…fill in as necessary…) to love your body, and love your booty. Self love really, butt with sass.
