Jana Lee Hamblin Instagram – These are 16 friends of mine who moved to Costa Rica 16 years ago and ever since they have devoted their lives to rescuing animals that were abandoned, neglected, and abused.
The pandemic global crisis almost completely stopped their tourism business (hotel, adventure center, and our travel agency in Central America) and they have been barely holding on, trying to raise donations all over the world for the animals that they are rescuing.
The expenses are extremely high and already reached 40K Dollars monthly (medical treatments, food, shelter maintenance and more).
Nevertheless, they do not turn down the huge number of animals that keep on coming every day in malnutrition conditions, old, blind, with orthopedic injuries and different diseases like cancer, etc…
They are now calling anyone and anywhere to help SURVIVE.
