Luisa d’Oliveira Instagram – Helped judge the M.A.D. Film Festival at my old high school last night. These young people are full of creativity and vision, hopes and dreams 💫 Congratulations to all of you on your hard work! M.A.D. stands for Make A Difference. This high school film fest has been going for almost 20 years, was one I participated in many times at their ages, and raises funds for the #michaelcuccionefoundation to cure childhood cancer. Michael’s own story with cancer led him to start his foundation when he was very young. He had incredible vision for so young a person, was an avid performer, was in the boy band 2gether, opened for Britney Spears, worked with David Hasselhoff, met the Pope. Sadly he passed in his teens, but his parents have been continuing his legacy ever since.
