Watching this iteration of #Cyrano I totally see where my deep-set nihilistic views on love came from. The concept of unrequited love and it’s birth to my DNA. Each heartache fell as though layers of my skin settled tight, reflecting the world right back at me.
My forever pursuit of soul and the sharp grasp of pithy wit. The romanticism of language which formed my situationship with poetry. Discovering the plight of pride, forcing a trickle down effect of self indulgent hate. Only to create an unnecessary barrier to fulfil a self-set-prophesy of failure. Like creating a shield to a weapon of my making.
A story a lot can connect with. Simply said; sometimes we get in our own way’s of happiness…
