Phoebe Fox Instagram – Joan Didion was one of those writers who’s work hits you clean between the eyes on first introduction. I put down ‘slouching towards Bethlehem’ and looked wildly around me – did everyone know who this writer was?? Why hadn’t anyone told me about her before??
