Solange Instagram – my new book “In Past Pupils and Smiles”(2019) is a 188-page monograph celebrating my self composed and directed closing performance at the 58th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale de Venezia. it is the most in depth documentation of my process and relationship with performance, but more than that, it celebrates all of the incredible collaborators who make the work exist. with contributions from writers Chloe Wayne Sultan, @chloe.actually ,Greg Bryant, @gb_watchman and Shantel Aurora-Pass, @thetrillfairy , the book also features interviews with my band, my costume designer, associate director, and more. a special thank you to @theaaroncezar for writing the forward and having me. i am also proud as it is the first publication published by @SaintHeron , presented with our partners @anteism_books . books are available to purchase via www.SaintHeron.com (link in bio), Antesim.com, and select bookstores.
