Uzo Aduba Instagram – Ok. Wow. What a gift. Iโ€™m so grateful to see our entire company of Clydeโ€™s recognized in so many ways today, and humbled to also be nominated as well. You guys. Theater has brought me so much joy throughout my life, and this #theaterkid is particularly joyful now, in this season, to see the neon lights back on on Broadway โœจ. Congratulations to our entire Clydeโ€™s family for an incredible run. To our director, Kate Whoriskey, for her phenomenal leadership. Special love to my cast mates, Kara and Ron, on their beautiful work. To our playwright, the incomparable Lynn Nottage. To Jen Moeller, our costume designer for her brilliance, and to all of todayโ€™s nominees.ย If you can, go see a show. Broadway is back. I promise you wonโ€™t regret it! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŽญ#TeamClydes

Buffaloโ€™s Black Residents Express Anger and Frustration After Racist Mass Killing

Ten people were killed in an attack at a Buffalo grocery store, including several older shoppers and a supermarket security guard. Before the attack, the gunman is believed to have posted a lengthy, racist screed online and expressed admiration for a white supremacist ideology known as replacement theory.

โ€œYou expect us to keep doing this over and over and over again — over โ€‹again, forgive and forget,โ€ said Garnell Whitfield, a former fire commissioner who lost his mother, Ruth Whitfield, in the mass shooting, โ€œwhile the people we elect and trust in offices around this country do their best not to protect us, not to consider us equal.โ€
