Ah, friends.. we’re coming to you with some sad news. We’ve, unfortunately, experienced another loss 😔💔 We’ve struggled with whether or not to share because this is just hard, but we know that so many suffer in silence and we want so badly for that to change. 🙏🏻We pray that in sharing our journey- the lessons we’ve learned between our first and second miscarriage and the perspective we’ve gained- the two little lives that didn’t come to be will be filled with purpose and will perhaps even bring some healing to someone else’s pain. 💔 We share our story today on @makingitwork and hope you’ll join us as we try to shed a light on this really tough topic. I can not wrap my head around this. All I know is that the pain I feel does not even come close to what the parents, teachers, and children of the Robb school in Uvalde are going through right now. Prayers, yes, always, and in the face of such cruelty and injustice, even harder than ever. The evil that so many witnessed Tuesday is unfathomable. Katie and I called our police department and school board because we need to know that they are doing everything they can to keep our children safe and, if not, what needs to be done? We need to keep our kids safe in their schools and fighting for gun control, though necessary, won’t happen overnight and is not the only action we can take. We need to do SOMETHING. ⬆️ These are our # 1s and will not be forgotten. Instead of dropping our usual podcast, Katie and I share some thoughts and some actions we can take today on @makingitwork in the hopes of trying to insure our children’s safety. Please share your thoughts and feedback as we search for answers in the hope that we can put an end to these tragedies that plague our nation.
