17 de octubre de 1986. Día grande, el presidente del Comité Olímpico Internacional va anunciar la ciudad que acogerá los Juegos Olímpicos de 1992. El día de alegría para Barcelona se convertirá para Carmen en el día «después de». El mundo ya no será nunca más un lugar seguro.
A veces llegan películas que terminan y te dejan en silencio, con un pesar extraño en el estómago y la certeza de haber visto algo importante. Es el caso de «Titán», el último cortometraje de María Salgado Gispert. Una historia sobre la violencia durante la infancia con tintes autobiográficos que, por desgracia, ni es un hecho aislado ni es del todo ficción. En colaboración con @cimamujer.

The 17th of October 1986. It’s a special day for Barcelona. The President of the International Olympic Committee is about to announce the city that will host the 1992 Olympic Games. For Carmen, the day of joy for Barcelona will turn into the “day after”, when she will never feel safe again.
Some films are so powerful they leave you speechless, with a knot in your stomach. This is the case of “Titán”, María Salgado Gispert’s latest short film, created in collaboration with @cimamujer. This autobiographical film deals with child abuse, which is sadly far from being an uncommon or fictional occurrence.
