Her dedication and service in the British Army during WWII, followed by her coronation at 25 were only the beginnings of a legacy whose length of duty brought dignity, elegance, and balance to the world. Her Majesty remained a symbol of steadiness and stability, guiding the people of the UK — and the world — through decades of social and political change. Not only was she a powerful and inspirational leader, Queen Elizabeth II was also a beautiful example of a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her kindness and hospitality shines on through her beloved family. In the early 90s, I was privileged to visit with members of the Royal Family and will always remember and appreciate the care I received.
