Within a year of this defining moment in the Civil Rights Movement, the Civil Rights Act was passed, followed shortly by the Voting Rights Act — both landmark moments for our country that brought us closer to liberty and justice for ALL. Nearly six decades later, Dr. King’s words continue to inspire us. “The #MLK dream is a challenge and a beacon of light that beckons our world forward to a better future. Every day, we are called to do something to help fulfill the #dream.
