Allie Gonino Instagram – It’s not so easy to get to Saturnia, a small village in the middle of Toscana. Surrounded by rolling hills, olive tree farms, and vineyards nestled in deep valleys, is Le Cascade Di Saturnia. This is a sulfuric thermal spring where the water is as warm as a bath, and contains so many essential minerals. If you look behind me in the second photo, you can see the waterfalls that flow into the pools. I sat in meditation for nearly 40 minutes under one of the high pressure areas and allowed myself to just receive a deep, cathartic massage from Mother Nature. I can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed and nurtured. Traversing the pools full of people takes a bit of balance and mindfulness, but once you’re in, you’re in.
