First ones are always special !
In the process of staying humble,
I ignored celebrating everything that I received from the universe.
I didn’t go to pick up my Gold Medal at Pune university in 2008,
I walked alone on the roads at IFFI Goa in 2012 with Best Actress trophy in my hands,
I almost lost my National Award on a bus in 2013.
I also thought it was cool, cause Art is important not me or my achievements.
It took me quite a few years to give space to all the little things that I have gathered on this journey.
Celebrating rejections is fun but one can be kind enough to celebrate selections as well.

I read Antigone in my first year of Lalit Kala Kendra.
I was barely 17, almost her age.
I wanted to be her all my life…
Fearless, crazy, passionate and devoted to a cause.
After 6 years of training in two different Drama schools, I jumped into films and couldn’t pursue theatre.
So now I got the chance to be a small part of @dasmkti dream project “Antigone”
(No, I am not acting in it but helping as a theatre designer!)
