During lockdown I became involved in a passionate relationship with my broadband connection – whether it was Zoom stand up gigs, letting my kid play a game on my phone to stop her licking the bin (again) or some sanity-saving sessions of Game of Thrones at the end of another groundhog day, my @Sky_UK broadband was under as much pressure as my sports bra. Thank the lord we have a bit more balance this year. Working from home, but also being able to do things in person, all on my terms. Video calls in my leggings (let’s be honest, pj bottoms) after doing the nursery run. Being taught how to apply blusher correctly by a teenage girl on TikTok while the kettle boils.
