I get asked sometimes what to do in a “slate.” A slate is this: a full body shot in which you state your name, height and location, often requested by casting directors to accompany your audition tapes. I like to throw in that I’m vaccinated and boosted just so it’s clear from the jump. Why do we do slates? No one knows for sure.
