Walking into thirty-won this Sunday morning, and I’m feeling much like this first picture… while this journey has not been easy, though my past may have left me bloodied and bruised at times, I am strong. I am powerful and I am in full surrender to God on High. I’m so blessed! And it’s incredible to experience how God moves through you and for you as you continue to seek and honor “Him.” Huge gratitude for the divine portal that is my mom @leblanc3 on this day because she is the reason I am here. So many wonderful manifestations that I have been praying for for years are finally here and I’m just in awe. 🥹 This past week I’ve been surrounded by incredible humans and dynamic artists on a set that is so supportive of each other and dedicated to this unbelievably heart tugging and gut wrenching story that is #Civil. We been in the trenches y’all and it’s only been one week 😂. Thank you @cherylmeyerwrites and @iamanthonygrant for creating a story that is not only an inspiring call to action but also one that is so timely and relevant to humanity as a whole. Being directed by the EPIC and most graceful @mackiegd, DP an iconic visionary @ashleyirisgill, supported and seen by our light pouring @yasontherun… God is with me as I am in the midst of my first lead role 😱, conquering fears and stepping into a new level of artistry that I cannot even begin to wrap my head around. 31 is a year of soft ferocity, one that is so connected to God and so abundant in blessings and pure love that the energy of it began before my born day even came. What an honor it is to feel the presence of the ancestors ushering me through this portal and the love that my tribe is showering me with. On today, I am 31 and on today I am truly humbled by and surrendered to the All That Is. Infinite gratitude to @yasontherun @phillmprods @codysparshu @mackiegd @cherylmeyerwrites for not only trusting me with this role but also supporting me through every tear, animalistic scream and drop of blood that has been shed 😂🤦🏽‍♀️. This project is soo special both on and off camera and I cannot wait for you all to see the hard work and heart we’re pumping into this film. Such an insanely talented cast that continuously leaves me in awe of the way they show up and pour out daily!
