Laura Kenny Instagram – I’m not sure I even have the words for this one. Commonwealth Games Champion 🥇 This last 6 months or so has been a challenge to say the least. Yesterday I thought maybe this is my last race. All we said before the start was dont trip over each other as @officialteamengland and make sure someone is in every break. When @grace_lister came over I thought yes! but then when @sophielewis_02 ended up on the front and rode her absolute socks off to help me close the gap, I couldn’t quite believe it. What an absolute hero of a team mate. This team @_maddieleech @knight_josie @sophielewis_02 @grace_lister and @monmoogreenwood have made me smile on so many occasions this week. The bike riding hasn’t been fun at all times this week, but the off bike has been absolutely brilliant!
