To be a Baha’i was to also love Jesus and see His teachings as truth, affirming the oneness of our common Creator. I’m so grateful for their timelessness, and timeliness. This particular teaching… So simple. So challenging. So beautiful. How gorgeous that He never said where the neighborhood ended. Maybe we weren’t ready yet to comprehend living on a sphere, or to see that the (seemingly) uncrossable boundaries were all of our own creation. Praying that we catch up to this teaching. Praying that we see each other as one family. Praying that as we learn to be more loving to ourselves that it teaches us to love others more, and vice versa.
