Stacey Abrams Instagram – I visited a Dorothy Bolden mural in Atlanta this morning to pay tribute to her legacy of transforming the lives of domestic workers across Georgia and across America. I also joined the Atlanta-North Georgia regional labor council at their picnic to thank them for ensuring that Georgians who want the opportunity to thrive will find them. While we celebrate #LaborDay and enjoy a day off today, I know that the fight for working families continues today and everyday. As the daughter of a shipyard worker and a librarian, I know the struggles facing working families, and the joy that comes with success even when the odds are against them. I’m grateful for every worker, union member and hardworking Georgian who has helped to build the economy we have today.
