Ashwin Kakumanu Instagram – Sendhan and Semban. As part of Ponniyin Selvan, actors who came into contact with horses in scenes were sent for horseriding training by @madrastalkies . I learnt for a few weeks at the @madrasschoolof under the guidance of Alagesan master @alagesan.horse who quickly brought me into speed with their course. It was one part of my preparation since the character was involved in a horse chase scene with #vandhiyathevan as they escape from the #pazhavetturayar ‘s padaiveerargal/army . Ultimately the horse chase didnt make it into the film but it was so fun picking up a new skill!
