147 Reasons We Will Win on November 8th
Here they are. These are the 147 United States Senators and Members of the U.S. House of Representatives — every single one a member of the soon-to-be-defunct Republican Party — who, just hours after the Capitol Police and National Guard put down a right wing insurrection and attempted coup on January 6th of last year, voted to give the traitorous mob what it demanded: The illegal overturning of the 2020 presidential election by refusing to accept and certify that the vast majority of Americans had cast their ballots — by seven million votes — to elect Joseph R. Biden as the 46th President of the United States.
Their own act of Congressional insurrection failed in both Houses of Congress in the late evening hours of January 6th. The 147 swore they would prevent Biden from entering the White House. And they went down to bitter defeat.
Their attempt to overturn Arizona’s results was struck down 93 to 6 in the Senate, and 303 to 121 in the House.
And their attempt to overturn Pennsylvania’s results was struck down 92 to 7 in the Senate, and 282 to 138 in the House.
The republic was spared, barely. The 147 I’ve listed below sought to bring an end to our Democracy that night. Is there anything more sacred in a Democracy than the will of the people at the ballot box? To take that away means Democracy is over. That’s what the 147 below did 21 months ago, and for that attempt at treason, every single last one of them should be removed on November 8th. Whether that happens is up to the people who say they love this country — and who respect the will of its people.
I’m counting on just enough of them being removed so that the House and Senate will no longer be anywhere near their control.
