@asifali is incredible as Shanu in Kotthu. What he has done is unforgettable. It’s so refreshing to see this man play a “hero” who does not know that he is the hero of the story. Shanu is so completely a victim of his circumstances and it’s delicious how vulnerable and relatable Asifikka has made him. Tons of credit to Siby sir and Hemantettan also for that, of course.
But this post is also for the Asifikka I’ve known in life. A+ guy, super honest, so full of heart, unbearable amounts of fun, equal portion of reckless madness, and someone whose back I’d jump on without missing a beat.
