Vihaan Samat Instagram – Looking back, I’m really happy with what we’ve created with mismatched. It’s a bunch of things coming together – the stunning locations, cinematography, hair and makeup, costumes, sound mixing, music, editing…the list would keep going and I would run out of space. But there are specific people without whom the character would not exist as it did.
Thank you to @akvarious and @panchamighavri for thinking of me for Harsh in the first place. And thank you @akvarious for guiding me through my scenes on set. I’m absolutely sure that no one else would allow me to approach Harsh’s scenes with the same mix of sensitivity and levity. Thank you for guiding me when I needed it, and thank you for letting me run wild when I had a solid footing. (Picture 3 is Akarsh making sure we know what the hell we’re doing)
I have to thank you @gazaldhaliwal and your incredible writing team for giving Harsh such a great mix of emotions and a beautiful arc for the second season. It’s not often we see such striking range on paper.
Last but not least, thank you @mostlysane for being a fabulous scene partner. You have incredible screen presence and there wasn’t a moment I felt when you weren’t 100% there. It became so easy to build the harsh-dimple dynamic, and you have only gone from strength to strength.
