Andrea Barber Instagram – And that’s a wrap on Christmas on Candy Cane Lane! 🎬🎄🤶🏻 Someday I will be able to process this rollercoaster of emotions and put into words just how transformative this experience was. This was my first Christmas movie, my first time being #1 on the call sheet. Three weeks ago I was nervous as hell walking into the table read. And today I head home with a wealth of experience and new friends for life. I’m so grateful for my wonderful co-stars and our hardworking crew, and to our fabulous director @christiewillwolf for her leadership, guidance, and friendship. And I will especially miss my leading man, @actordanpayne, who made every single day brighter with his effortless charm, extraordinary talent, and genuine love for everyone around him. And most of all – to my hero, @candacecbure. I’m not sure how it’s possible, but we became even closer through this experience. Having your producer also be one of your best friends is just about the greatest gift I could’ve asked for. CCB, I love you and I’m so so grateful for you – for your advice, your listening ear, and your unwavering support and belief in me. Andrea Barber Instagram – The last time I spoke with David was a week ago on the set of That Girl Lay Lay. We talked about his daughter, Anna Grace, who was absolutely rocking her first prominent storyline as her character, Gigi. I told David how impressed I was with her comedic timing, her unwavering confidence, and her uncanny ability to imitate his way of speaking. His face immediately softened, a slow smile spreading across his face, the absolute pride glistening in his eyes. I’ll never forget that look. If you know David, you know that he loved his beautiful wife Julie and his sweet daughters Anna Grace and Ashlyn more than anything else on earth. David was also a writer/producer on Fuller House, in addition to being the creator of That Girl Lay Lay, not to mention his insanely successful career as a stand up comedian. (Check out his special on Netflix – “It Ain’t For The Weak!”) He put so much goodness into the world. We lost a legend yesterday. David, I love and miss you. Give Bob and my mom a hug for me. ❤️🕊
