Camille A. Brown Instagram – “This past week at @metopera , we received a one-of-a-kind portrait of director and choreographer Camille A. Brown by artist Jim McKeon.
Brown most recently choreographed and co-directed Terence Blanchard’s Fire Shut Up in My Bones in the 2021–22 season and choreographed the production of the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess in the 2019–20 season. She is also celebrated for her work on Broadway and on television and was nominated for three Tony Awards. In our upcoming season, she will bring her choreography talents to the Met premiere of Blanchard’s Champion.”
