It might not be the most flashy or “draggy” but it’s the first look I sat down to draw when I got the call for drag race and I stand by it 100%. In the rush of getting ready, I forgot the neck bow which is sort of a symbol of mine which I’m very sad didn’t make it on the runway even though I know it wouldn’t have made a blind bit of difference! I like to think my aesthetic came across even if it didn’t to the judges here. I was in the middle of writing my dissertation before I left for drag race. The realisation that people spent more than you and/or had large drag families helping them comes fast and furious on day one! I didn’t want to let my community down and believe me the episode doesn’t highlight the extent of how upset I was which I’m honestly kind of relieved about. I wish I walked down the runway the way I had in the lipsync but looking back now I wouldn’t have changed this episode for the world. Thank you for all the support and love! 💚💖💚
