Manisha Koirala Instagram – I am a big advocate for preventative healthcare and having gone through the pain and agony of cancer myself I know that if there is a way to prevent it, it must be made the norm. India has some of the highest cervical cancer cases and up to 25% of cervical cancer-related deaths in the world occur in India. This is why I am so thrilled to learn that the Department of Biotechnology, the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council under the Ministry of Science and Technology, India have pioneered the HPV Vaccine to create an easy pathway to protect the lives of women and girls from cervical cancer. I extend my deepest gratitude to @ddrjitendrasingh, Hon’ble Minister of State of the Ministry of Science and Technology & Earth Sciences and India’s science community for giving every girl and woman the power to fight cervical cancer with this vaccine. #qHPVvaccine
