It’s my angel’s birthday today. This is my Fran. She’s four. Every time we meet someone on the street they ask if she’s a puppy cause she’s a wild as hell. Sometimes I say yes because it’s less embarrassing. She is my best friend. She has taught me so much and I cried saying happy birthday to her last night. Thanks for always looking me in the eyes when you yell at me. I originally wanted to name a daughter Franny if I ever had one (mix between Franny Glass and Fanny Bryce) and she was supposed to be named Vivian. She did not act like a Vivian. Then her name was Buffy but she didn’t act like a Buffy either—so on day 4 she became Francesca (Frances) Buffy Tarlov. And Le Fran became legend.

CALLING ALL CRAFTERS: I decided to try my hand @ embroidery and did this test jacket. It was fun and I like it! The yarn I used was a thick acrylic and I like something more classic embroidery. What is your fave yarn to use? That’s not SO thin that it’ll take me a hundred years. (Bonus points if you can spot the first tattoo I ever got 🤦🏻♀️)
