Pallavi Sharda Instagram – Yesterday was Guru Purnima, so this morning I visited the woman who turned me from a little girl who loved rhythm into a classical Bharatha Natyam dancer. My Renuka Aunty has brought the wonder and story of classical Indian dance to hundreds of young dancers in Melbourne, and at a level that I think even the Devadasis would admire. A woman who embodies courage and wisdom and whose grit has been one of the foundations of who I am as an artist today.
