Quinn Brett Instagram – There was an ocean out the window….past the grass. 😂Thankfully this room also didn’t have a bench in the roll-in shower 🧐 so I asked to switch rooms. I voiced my bench concerns but felt sheepish with my window concerns (although it did feel like a bit of a claustrophobic dorm room). I took a deep breathe and got over it my worry of being “too needy” and just asked. “Hey, it would be nice if I have an ocean view room, if I could actually see the ocean.” The hotel staff was very receptive, I got a window I could look out of AND a bench to sit on while I shower.

For those that may wonder, and I am asked often: I don’t shower in my wheelchair. I don’t want to be sitting in a soaking wet chair all day, among a few other practical reasons.
