A long time coming since watching the @conchtheatre production #TheWhiteGuitar in 2016, and then consequently following the recent heart wrenching enquiry into abuse in State Care in Aotearoa. The film made me angry, and sad, but ultimately I was left with the reminder of the healing that comes by sharing our stories. Thank you for that, #NinaNawalowalo – And like Judge Ida says to you in the doco, Fa’amoana – we claim you. Your stories and experiences are our own. We are all connected. Fa’afetai tele lava for your bravery to keep sharing.
