Adam Bartley Instagram – 6 years ago my dear friend @lisaannefriday reached out and invited me to speak at the first Born to be Wild fundraiser on behalf of our wild horses. She knew of my true love and passion for horses. Beautiful, intuitive, powerful creatures. Riding them and the silent agreement you both make, the ongoing conversation you have as you run through pastures, work your way up a mountain, cross a big river are sone of the most spiritual experiences of my life. One of the great bonuses from working on #Longmire was that the horses we used on the show were stationed at the Santa Fe rodeo grounds and needed riding. 12 years later there’s not much I’d rather do. When I learned of Ginger’s work at @thecloudfoundation and her passion for saving our sacred wild horses from inhumane, unethical treatment on our public lands I was moved and deeply troubled. I’m so proud to be apart of this work to protect our wild horses on our public lands and let them continue to roam freely as they have for centuries. Thank you to the incredibly talented @tonyjacksonmusic and @templetontmusic for your offerings, thank you to Lisa for organizing another incredible event.
