Brett Eldredge Instagram – Researchers at NYU recently detailed how having a consistent morning routine can reduce unwanted stress and anxiety.
Psychologist and clinical assistant professor at the NYU School of Medicine Dr. Rachel Goldman stated, “When people don’t have a routine or structure to their day, it can cause increased stress and anxiety, as well as overwhelming feelings, lack of concentration, and focus.”
Not only does having a healthy morning routine provide our brain with some welcomed certainty, things like exercise, meditation, and getting a little morning sunlight are all proven to reduce stress, improve stress resilience, and even improve sleep quality at night.
