Gavin Newsom Instagram – Mr. Constantino “Tino” Lavezzo was not just my high school teacher. Growing up dyslexic, I was always nervous in the classroom. Mr. Lavezzo gave me the confidence I never had. He made me move from back of the classroom to the front. He was the real life Robin Williams in Dead Poet Society and the manifestation of the power teachers have.
So many of us have had a teacher that touched our lives and changed the course of our expectations. That never gave up on us and encouraged us every day. There remains no more noble and inspiring profession.
