Ian Somerhalder Instagram – #ian This is NOT how I wanted my name in the press this week. This storm is no joke and unfortunately these storms are going to become the norm. We have a major major issue with climate change right now and these warm waters are a result of a warming climate. Sure, hurricanes are natural occurrences, but NOT with this type of frequency we are seeing. There is a clear path to stopping this destruction. It’s called REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE or REGENERATIVE FARMING. Watch this film @kisstheground @kissthegroundmovie on NETFLIX, TODAY if you can and it will lay out the principles of REGEN AG and how this process will change the course of history for us as human beings by sequestering carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and putting it in the ground where belongs. THIS AT SCALE WILL SLOW CLIMATE CHANGE TO A CRAWL. This type of frequent hurricane destruction as a “normal” thing is unacceptable. Stay safe out there everyone. It is time for sweeping change throughout the CHAMBERS OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS and THE ECHO CHAMBERS of corporate board rooms in regards to how we farm, Our dependence on toxic chemicals and petroleum fertilizers. This only comes as a result of lobbyists. Hundreds Of lobbyists on Capitol Hill paying for terrible legislation. AMERICA, this not in your best interest. It is all for money. Every time one of these storms tears through a huge swath of land, imagine how stressful it is to the resource pool. All of the lumber to rebuild, the sheet rock, the wiring and all the chemicals that end up in the water. Think about it: this is lunacy. Money talks bullshit walks. Regenerative agriculture produces higher yields which means more money and can reduce the ding on the resource pool every year&the pain families AND insurance companies are suffering. More to come. Stay safe. #Ian you suck. But you were born out of warmer surface temperatures of the waters because the powers that be are asleep at the wheel for generations now. It’s time for major change.
