Grateful for they’re talents and efforts! And that’s the viciously capable Luis Vallardes as Gael’s werewolf stunt double. He was a beast in the best way possible, committing to the role and delivering a performance I’ll forever be thankful for. 🌕🐺

Here’s a cool look at a rehearsal for when the Werewolf makes the leap from the cage to the mounted monster head. That head had to be reinforced to be able to carry the weight of the stunt performer as they land. I thought it would be fun to show you a side by side of the #werewolfbynight hallway fight. On the top we have our rehearsal with our incredible stunt team led by @caseyoneillstunts and on the bottom you can see the final shot. We only got two takes of this, as it is incredibly hot in that werewolf makeup and suit! But Luis Vallardes as Gael’s werewolf stunt double was a beast and a sport the entire time.

Last week we had the pleasure of screening @MarvelStudios’ Werewolf by Night here at the Ranch as part of our Skywalker Sound Filmmaker Forum, followed by a Q&A with director Michael Giacchino, and moderated by @ILMVFX alum Roger Guyett!
