A few days ago I had the chance to come rehearse in one of @the.baths.hw filming studios.
If you don’t know what @the.baths.hw are, it’s a grassroots organisation in Hackney Wick, East London, where everyone can come and enjoy the space.
From artist studios, to cafe, exhibition space(s), filming studios, the Baths are a multipurpose building where people can hire the space for their own projects or come and enjoy all the cool projects & events the organisation already hosts! :
@hackneywicklibraryofthings gives you the opportunity to rent tools instead of buying them, with sharing resources meaning less waste of both materials and money!
They also have a sauna in their backyard, believe it or not! @communitysaunabaths aims at introducing people to authentic sauna culture and boasts both a barrel sauna & a few cold plunges
And finally, people gather on Wednesday evenings to take part in @hackneychessandgo club to play strategy games & exchange in a relaxed setting
