Anisha Victor Instagram - My periods started at a very young age which means I’ve been menstruating for around 18 years now and you think you’d come to terms with all the PMS-ing and everything that comes as a packaged deal with Aunt Flo every month but that’s rich thinking. A week before my periods the body starts retaining water, skin starts breaking out,breasts become sore and don’t even get me started on the mood swings. And then it comes, you start bleeding and it starts to get better for the next few days bringing some respite from this emotional roller coaster of self-doubt, lack of confidence and being extremely critical of yourself and low self worth (sounds fun,right!). Just when you think you’re past this…here we go again,the next cycle begins. I still feel lucky because for some people who bleed it gets even worse and I’m so sorry! I was hesitant to put up this picture at first but it is what it is and if given a shot at reincarnation I’d love nothing more but to be born a woman again.
