Ashnaa Sasikaran Instagram – EPISODE SEVEN 🎶 | Ashnaa is a British-Tamil singer who is strongly influenced by her background in Carnatic music. She is an upcoming independent artiste who enjoys collaborating and composing unique sounds with artistes from around the world. She started sharing her music through social media in 2019 and has gone onto perform on many stages around the world. In 2021, she collaborated with the virtuoso Sarod player Soumik Datta and a diverse community of musicians, dancers and artistes. This year, Ashnaa will be touring the UK in a musical production by ‘Opera North’ alongside artistes from both Western and South Asian traditions. Ashnaa is currently working on releasing her first EP that explores the genres of R&B, Funk, Carnatic and Jazz. For jamspot, Ashnaa appears as the penultimate episode of the series. She is joined by Sathvika Krishnan on the Keyboard and Ramanan Nathan on the Violin.
