It is the story of an Afghan family but also the story of Afghanistan with all its wonder and all its horror and everything in between.
These actors bring their A game to the stage. They made the book come to life just as I imagined it and that is hard to do.

What is happening in Afghanistan right now is so hard to fathom. If you talk to Afghans especially many will tell you their country is returning to an era of darkness especially for women and girls. It’s just heartbreaking.”
