Kazu Makino Instagram – i did not expect this piece obv thank you. i am touched @kexp wanted to perfect your piece and might be interesting to know… is that the horse who stepped on my face was not my harry. i came off countless times but never with harry except one time when he got very much older and he was visibly upset to lose me. rather i remember once he had tossed his head very high to put me back in the saddle when i was in front of him😂. i just had to clear his name cuz he was a LEGEND and i was an aspiring show jumper but a very humble one. good horses make you look good! and it is true that i broke my jaw, ear canal, my teeth and my mouth was wired shut for 3 months and we had a whole time to rework the music adding strings and my words got super personal and had lisps all over the record but i was able to purchase harry with the small success we had with ‘misery is a butterfly’ and ‘23’. it is true that harry is like my soul mate and i still think about him all the time and i lost him during the pandemic at the tender age of ‘23’ and i wrote yet another song for him called ‘the rest of her life’ and will be out next year in our new album ‘sit down for dinner’ and yes i do believe that the best is yet to come! #equus i wanted to play you the sound of his breathing, the way he sways his face sideways when gaging the jumps, his hoofs and a little grunting noise he used to make💕 | Posted on 01/Sep/2022 17:46:52
