A good moment to ask ourselves how much we really understand menopause… Many women face the ups and downs of this phase in their lives, feeling alone. Today, I attended an event where @abbottglobal launched The Next Chapter – a campaign to learn more about menopause and help women prepare for and manage their symptoms so that they can live fully. Along with an esteemed panel of doctors, we talked about how important it is for women to seek the support they may need and break taboos by sharing their #MenopauseStories. What left me most inspired was a collection of real stories by women from different parts of the world, including India, in the ‘The Next Chapter’ e-book. Each story was distinctly powerful. It’s time to break the silence around menopause. So, let’s do that – one story at a time.
