It all happens in the kitchen… can you hear ?? You’ll need: •3 cobbs of steamed corn peeled and remove silk •1 pomegranate • Extra Virgin Olive Oil. About 4 tablespoons. •2 tablespoons chopped spring onion • half a lemon •1 tablespoon of white vinegar (I added this later as I felt it needed it) • salt and black pepper to taste Mix it. Eat it 👅

Lisa Haydon Instagram – Ok peeps, has been a minute. This lentil salad was made the same day/ part of the same meal as the corn salad… we had it with grilled fish (I’ll post that video tomorrow. Haven’t had the chance to edit these vids, so they are coming in late. My husb was craving La Petite Manson food this night. But, we were detoxing, and didn’t want to actually go to the restaurant and get tempted with dessert and wine etc.. so again, this is my take on LPM’s lentil salad. Taaa daaa

SALAD DRESSING
2 grated/chop small cloves of garlic
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 a lemon
4 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
Salt + pepper to taste
Mix

SALAD
1 stalk chopped celery – soak this in the dressing while you boil..
1.5 cooked cups of brown/puy lentils (this is the measurement once it is finished boiling)
2 big tablespoons of spring onion. Chop small small.
1 green apple
2 handfuls grilled or not grilled sweet and delightful cherry tomatoes ( I won’t grill next time).
1/2 block of feta cheese. Crumbled.
Mix. Let the dressing soak into the lentils for about 20 mins. Eat.

Lisa Haydon Instagram – This page is turning into a food diary. Here’s dinner 🌝. Roast chicken and crushed potatoes.

Ingredients:
•Whole chicken cut into legs and breast with bones on
•One bundle of rosemary chopped
•One bundle of thyme
•Eight cloves of garlic (I’m gonna do ten next time though)

• Approx 1/4 cup olive oil (honestly I measured this one with my heart)
•1 kilo of potatoes boiled just till a fork can go through. Don’t over boil
•One bundle chopped parsley
•One lemon

Directions👩🏽‍🍳:
Crush rosemary, thyme, Garlic + extra virgin Olive oil together. Add salt + pepper. Rub it all over chicken. Chop parsley. Get your boiled potatoes. Crush them on oiled bake tray. Sprinkle on salt pepper parsley and olive oil drizzle. Place chicken on top. Wedge your lemon where you can get it. Bake for 45 mins on 230 degrees Celsius. Watch it sizzle. Eat.
